Nyalic® is widely used on commercial workboats, cruise ships, military and customized craft, as well as on a large number of pleasure craft, where protection of bare aluminum from salt water is required.  Nyalic® also protects all painted metal surfaces.

Nyalic® is not a wax or polish.  Nyalic is a clear ultra-thin proprietary formulation of polymeric resins developed for the Apollo Space Program.  It provides years of protection from salt water, salt air, corrosive chemicals and UV damage.

Designed to withstand extreme temperatures (to 350 degrees F and flex below zero degrees F), this surface protectant is ideal for highly moist environments, and significantly reduces corrosion related failures on the hull (inside and outside). It is especially effective in preventing corrosion failure of electrical connections and components.  Nyalic® performs at film thicknesses as low as 5 microns and does not cause heat build-up.

Further, Nyalic® is extremely thin, water-clear and remains flexible well below zero degrees F, yet it is thermally stable up to 350 degrees F. Nyalic® is a non-conductive polymer coating.

Longevity
A properly prepared and applied coating should give a minimum of 3 to 5-years protection, provided the boat owner follows a few simple instructions on the care and cleaning of Nyalic® coated surfaces. We have boats still looking good after 12 years in service.

Easy Maintenance
Nyalic® coated surfaces can be damaged by a severe scratch or abrasion or by solvent spills that are left to dry over time without cleanup. The good news is that Nyalic® can be easily repaired in the field by the boat owner. Simply clean the surface and re-apply Nyalic® with our aerosol can. Nyalic® is self-leveling, which allows the repaired surface to blend seamlessly with the undamaged surfaces to provide a good-as-new appearance.
